This gallery shows the conversion of a MC Rokkor 58mm f/1.2 to Minolta AF (Sony alpha) mount. The conversion was done using a MAF/M42 adaptor and a 1 mm thick sheet of plastic. A short explanation of the modification steps is given in the image captions.
The images taken with this lens have very pleasant bokeh and are very sharp from f/2 on. At f/1.2 there is some softness in most shots and DOF is extremely small of course.
